Privacy notice

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This notice explains how Sound N Light (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us.

Who is responsible?

Sound N Light is responsible for personal information handled through this website. For privacy questions, please use the contact button on the home page.

Information you choose to send

This website has no contact form or account. Selecting Contact us opens your email application. Information you include—such as your name, email address and event details—is sent via your email provider. We use it to reply and discuss your enquiry. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

Purpose, lawful basis and retention

We use enquiry details to respond to your request and, where relevant, take steps you ask us to take before a possible booking. We generally rely on legitimate interests for genuine enquiries and may rely on contract or legal obligation if work is agreed. We keep messages only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage any resulting relationship and meet applicable record-keeping duties.

Website data and hosting

No analytics, advertising pixels, embedded media or social widgets are intentionally installed. The preferences panel stores your choice in browser local storage. The hosting provider may process technical request and security-log data, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. The provider, server location and retention period must be confirmed before launch.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. Messages pass through the email service you use and our email provider. Providers may process data outside the UK; their locations and safeguards should be checked.

Your rights

UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict information, object to processing, and complain to the ICO. Rights depend on circumstances. Contact us through the home page; you may also visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes

We will update this notice if our website or data handling changes.
